Born in Germany, Dominik Prinz is a photographer living in New York City. Intrigued by its power to tell powerful human stories, he discovered his passion for photography while spending time as an activist in the developing world.

Dominik strongly believes that a good picture does not simply capture a moment but allows us to be part of someone else’s journey. He sees his work as a way to trigger an emotional dialogue, foster empathy and a deep, intimate connection. That’s why he focuses on documenting people's courage and strength.

Dominik is convinced that an image can lend a voice to those that have not been given one or live in circumstances that intimidate them to raise it.
